About the project

Suture Team after presenting the making-of to the students and teachers from Senac.

Suture is an  hybrid between short- film and interactive game of point and click.

The viewer/player incorporates a girl who suddenly finds herself locked in her own house and haunted by a ghost full of cuts all over her body. Being inserted into a realistic atmosphere and sometimes a little unrealistic, the viewer/ player must explore their own senses, making choices in a way more intuitive than logical, guiding themselves until reaching one of the three possible endings of the story.
The project was made by eight students of Bachelor in Audiovisual (see more in the section about the group) with the participation of Rosiany Pelizzer as the protagonist and Barbara Damasceno as the antagonist (see the pictures on the  the Galllery section).

The project involved a planning for a film with recording dates, choose the types of camera and microphones, search for locations, etc.. (see pictures of the making of on the Gallery section) and  a planning for a game which involves screenplay with bifurcations, programming and  tests to reduce bugs.
An early project version was displayed at the university itself, in an environment appropriately decorated and lighted to provide maximum immersion of the interactor (see the photos on the Gallery section).
Also we have our Facebook page (available only in Portuguese) and we have been keeping the page update with all the art references, curiosities of the horror universe in general, photos and more.

After the first contact with the public, Suture has been enhanced and now we have this version available here on the blog (Download section). It was hard work, with a great commitment of our team. We did everything to bring the best outcome to you. Finally, we invite you to visit the Comments section to have the opportunity to let  your suggestions, criticisms, compliments and comments about the game, blog and more if you consider necessary.

We hope you enjoy!

Suture Team.
